Guidelines to Select Suitable Stretch Film

Thickness (mic) 2"-5" Baby roll 12"-20" Hand Grade 20" Machine grade
10/12 mic Excellent option for bundling uniform objects. No products with sharp edges or corners Excellent for box and case wrapping upto 750 kgs. -
15 mic Ideal for lighter, smaller objects, smaller boxes and banding light items. Ideal for loads upto 900kgs. This widths are ideal where the bottom and top only need to be wrapped. -
23 mic Most common gauge and is very versatile in applications. Ideal for loads upto 2000 kgs. It is suitable for variety of applications. Having higher strength and stretchability than hand grade. Machine is used for wrapping the products.
29 mic Commonly used for medium-heavy boxes to bundle together Ideal for loads upto 3000 kgs. Requires maximum exertion to stretch it by hand. Most commonly used film for machine wrap with higher stretchability and strength than hand wrap.
